The music of this CD (a mix between {medieval} music and {progressive rock}, mostly instrumental) was skillfully played but highly derivative of one or two {British prog} bands. Hands took their influences from a variety of bands and used them in a way that was often quite original. Almost all of the band's six core members were multi-instrumentalists and a large cast of guest contributors appears as well, so in addition to the usual drums/bass/electric and acoustic guitars and keyboards there are also a lot of violin and woodwinds on the album. Read More
