The music of this CD (a mix between medieval music and progressive rock, mostly instrumental) was skillfully played but highly derivative of one or two British prog bands. Hands took their influences from a variety of bands and used them in a way that was often quite original. Almost all of the band's six core members were multi-instrumentalists and a large cast of guest contributors appears as well, so in addition to the usual drums/bass/electric and acoustic guitars and keyboards there are also a lot of violin and woodwinds on the album. Read More
