Medal of Bravery for Castlegar boy

Castlegar youth Cody Sloot is one of a number of people set to receive Canada's Medal of Bravery, at a ceremony in Ottawa tomorrow.

At Rideau Hall, Governor General Michaelle Jean will present the recipients, who were named back in July, with 46 Medals of Bravery and one Star of Courage

Sloot is being recognized for his actions in June 2007, when as a 10 year old he crossed 5 kilometres through the wilderness to find help for his injured father after an incident involving an ATV near Renata.
