Selkirk College is continuing to explore options when it comes to reducing their carbon footprint.
A new report outlines areas where the school is excelling in its sustainability plan, and where it can make improvements.
Renewable Resource instructor Derek Marcoux says in addition to helping the environment, going green also means cost savings for Selkirk.
Some ideas the Selkirk campuses are looking at include composting and expanded recycling programs.
