Pastor heading back to Haiti

The man credited for his leadership during the Mt Sentinel student crisis in earthquake devastated Haiti says he's on his way to firming up plans for his return to the country.

Pastor Jim Reimer with the Kootenay Christian Fellowship says both he and his wife are looking to head to Haiti in the early spring-just in time for hurricane season.

As far as where they'll help out, they're hoping to fast track a planned orphanage.

Reimer adds for now he'll continue work as a consultant for a group trying to rebuild the Haiti Arise Mission, as well as focusing on fundraising efforts.
