Weekend Charges for Nelson residents

A debt led to an assault in Nelson over the weekend.
City Police say a resident was assaulted in his home, resulting in a cut above his eye.
A 33 year old man is facing break and enter and robbery charges....a 23 year old woman is facing a charge of threatening.
Both have an April 6th court date.
Meanwhile on Saturday just before midnight, police were called to a single vehicle crash at View and 6th Street.
Witnesses say a car didn't make the corner, and hit a rock wall.
The driver, a 36 year old Nelson resident, has been charged with impaired driving...he suffered minor injuries in the crash.
