Local Highway 3 improvements

The 2.25 million dollars for improvements on Highway 3 from Paulson Bridge to Avalanche Gate will primarily be put towards re-paving.
This according to Boundary-Similkameen MLA John Slater.
Slater, who formerly chaired the highway 3 coalition says it's great news for all communities along the stretch...
Slater adds as a bonus if a local contractor is chosen for the project it will also mean a boost to the economy.
The province and Ottawa jointly announced the project yesterday as one of 15 infrastructure improvements.
