BCNU Head on KBRH O-R issues

The head of BC's Nurses Union says they applaud the creative thinking of doctors at Kootenay Boundary Regional Hospital when it comes to subsidizing the nurses wages.
However, Deb McPherson says as a long term plan, it just doesn't work...both the province and federal government need to step up to the plate to ensure BC's healthcare system isn't run into the ground.
McPherson adds cuts to Operating Rooms across BC only fuels debate over private surgical clinics, who are eager to branch out.
She also says she's met with KBRH nurses and advised them to continue pressuring Interior Health on the issues.
