Nelson councillor questions healthcare

A Nelson city councillor is hoping the Queen city council will offer some form of support to Trail when it comes to the issue of cuts at the Kootenay Boundary Regional Hospital.

Robin Cherbo raised the question of healthcare during council's discussion of community sustainability and pointed to KBRH specifically.

Cherbo says despite health-care being the traditional responsibility of provincial and federal governments, when it comes to talk of community sustainability, the topic should be a priority.
