Park location concerns Rossland residents

A handful of residents expressed concerns to Rossland council over the potential location of a community skate park at the Emcon lot across from Rossland Secondary School.

Mayor Greg Granstrom says while he understands concerns, the skate park association still has a ways to go before actually obtaining the site.

Granstrom adds residents fear noise will be an issue if the park is built at the proposed location.

He suggests the skate park association needs to work hard to sell the idea to the public.
