The Best Blizzard Yet!
Tonight marks the beginning of the 4th annual Blizzard Music Festival in Rossland. You can catch some great local music at the Drift Izikaya, The Flying Steamshovel and The Old Fire Hall. Then there is more music on Friday (with the new outdoor stage getting some use), Saturday and a couple of performances on Sunday as well (coinciding with the Olympic torch coming through Rossland). It's going to be a great extended weekend of music with a mix of some very talented local bands and a few coming from out of town. Below is a full list of who is playing and where. With the Rossland Winter Carnival and the Western Regional Pond Hockey Championships going on as well, there are definitely some great reasons to check out The Alpine City this weekend!
