Beaverdell home invasion

Two men face charges after a home invasion in Beaverdell.

Midway RCMP were called at around one in the morning on Wednesday last week after two men broke into a home in Beaverdell.

Police say the female received non-life threatening injuries. Midway R-C-M-P Corporal Kim Hall says the attack was targeted, and was not a random occurrence.

Hall says, since the matter is before courts she can not comment on any possible motive.

But she says there was a family relationship between the alleged attackers and the victims.

Two men who are apparently known to the victim were arrested an charged, one is being held in custody, the other is out on bail.
