SoundVibes is the Kootenay compilation album and their newest disc is coming out on October 16th with a huge festival in Nelson. 19 local bands and artists will be performing at different locations throughout the city (there's even a couple all ages venues!). You can either stay put at one location all night for $5, or you can buy a wrist band that will get you into all of the venues so you can hop around and catch any music you want (that will be $15 AND you get the album FREE!!). All the money made from the concerts and the album go to help the Nelson and District Youth Centre upgrade their music room. Local music helping local youth music. AWESOME! Kudos goes to the guys over at Serpico Audio for making it all happen and thanks to their sponsors - Hall Printing, Bite Fresh Foods, Nelson and District Credit Union, and All Hit KBS.
